I think he shatters Henson's record, unless we change drastically as an offense over time Angel's ability already to make 8-10 assist/game look routine is only going to improve, which is kinda scary to think about.

Ignoring how difficult it is to average 8 apg over 2 seasons, I don't think he's shattering that record. He will assume a greater scoring role next season.

He has 254 assists right now, over 60 games left in his career gives just under 5.5 assists/games, and that's ignoring Saturday's game, and other guaranteed games in big 12 conference tourney, and who knows (and won't add) other ncaa/big 12 tourney games. He's shattering it, unless he gets hurt, though I'd agree my initial 8 assist/game is over the top. Under 5.5 isn't
