I also have no idea why any coach would still be fired up about something like that. Flopping is just part of good defense.
I should've put it into context; after the game is when he said that. I'm not listening to the interview. I had no problem with him being upset about that, some coaches don't like flopping.
oscar teaches flopping, though, or at least our guys go out and do it. Gipson is probably our best flopper, and it's great defensive strategy because if you don't flop on the block, you are going to get pushed under the basket, and he doesn't have the kind of height to defend from there against some of the better bigs.
Is oscar talking about the play where Smart grabbed Angel and pulled him to the ground on an inbounds play? That's a whole lot different than flopping and just poor officiating.
