Author Topic: ATTN Manhattan area EMAWs (Read 4024 times)

As most of you have already heard, a couple fellow EMAWs (and close friends of mine) were roughed up by some POS DUI after the Fiesta Bowl. EMAWmeister, total stud that he is, set up a fundraiser at Purple Swirl on Monday from 6-9. They'll be donating a percentage of their sales to the two guys.

Myself and everyone else associated with the situation would appreciate it if all of you guys showed up and bought some frozen yogurt and crap to help support them. For those of you that haven't been following the thread, Mike is back in Great Bend recovering, but Cody's still in a coma in Phoenix. He's still looking good and he's made a ton of progress, and both families can use any help that they can get.

I've been trying to get an email out to all the greek house presidents, but K-State's email system is watertrash and isn't working. I'll keep trying, because it's kind of late notice, but anyone attending by all means invite your friends.

We could do a yearly fund raiser for a worth cause and name it after Fatty. Kinda like a memorial scholarship...

So Purple Swirl has this "The Chamber Challenge", which involves eating an absurd amount of ice cream, 48 oz in 15 min or something. Really hoping to get Gip or maybe some lineman to give it a shot.
