Not pumping my chest, just telling what my eyes saw.

So either you should stop believing your eyes, or just understand that you are a poor evaluater of talent

He was a 4* and pud in high school. No one saw this coming.

You're trying to make a joke, right?
Anyone who saw him in KC, knew he was soft and lazy in high school. That's why Self stayed away. UK is doing a great job of putting some fire in him. I'm happy for Cauley.

nothing you're saying here is necessarily wrong - it just has nothing to do with his NBA prospects

He will be a bench warmer in the NBA and won't last more than a couple years.

this may be a squawk talk but my understanding is they thought they had this guy on lock down http://rivals.yahoo.com/basketballrecruiting/basketball/recruiting/player-Kaleb-Tarczewski-112281;_ylt=AiQE1kysR6pedZkdeTV85gfXO5B4  and wouldn't need him.

That is pretty accurate. KU thought Kaleb was going to commit and did not really go after Willie. That didn't work out so well.

I think it's safe to say that Willie made the right choice in going to Kentucky. If he had come here, he probably wouldn't be going pro next year.

I still like the guy.  I never thought he'd be a top 10 pick when he went to Kentucky.  Hope he has a good career.

he's from Spearville. There is an entire family of Steins of which he was the only athletic one. also the rest of them are white. all 7 foot tall though.

SCENE: meade or spearville HS basketball gymnasium. probably like over 200 people there cheering their asses off. sd approaches the circle to jump tip. sd plays the 5 at a solid 6' in height matching the height of the next tallest guy in the entire Meade HS. across from him is a super goofy dork. ohshithes7feettall.jpg. ref throws the ball in the air and steve dave gets back on defense instead of jumping. stupid stein kid tips it to a meade guy anyway. lol.mp3.

look at this fuckers ^

It's not.  It's that racist piece of crap town 20 miles east of Dodge City.  But don't confuse it with that racist piece of crap town 27 miles southeast of Dodge City.  That town is called Bucklin.
