Was talking to a buddy of mine who lives in Phoenix.  He is a Kstate and Cuse fan.  Follows the Cats but not as closely as most of us on here.

Anyway, when he talked about Nino, he was calling him "Crash".    Got me to thinking we need more nicknames on this team

We have Tay, Big Gip, JO, Art.  I have heard "paperboy" when refering to Will.   I was like, meh, whatever on that one

When Shane hits a 3 and is walking back looking like a stud, i  find myself calling him "Smooth Shane" but understand there could be something better.

I'm in favor of calling Nino "Smiles McGee" and calling Diaz "Fucktard" (no offense to the fucktard (sp?) on this board).

Shannon will be referred to by his name god-given name, or "the paperboy". No exceptions, nothing else. Maybe FP TC, etc. We'll see.

Nicknames are to be either inspired by play or some bbs'able off court action.   You can't just make them up from out of the blue.  Just doesn't work that way.

You guys have any old ones you want to bring up? I used to call Dramane Diarra "French Foul Machine", but it never caught on. Not catchy enough I guess.

Seems like people forgot "Doc."
Four years here and Rodney doesn't have a nickname.
I sometimes call Shane "Sugar Shane" because his shoots so sweet and Art "Pitbull" because it seems to fit.
Orris I call POS wasted scholarship but I'm open to something shorter that conveys the same message.
