-On the road at Texas:  What are your impressions of TX:  Much better at home and Kabongo has made a big difference.  Getting in game shape.  They will play well and their confidence grows.  If they stay in the game, they are athletic enough to finish you off.

-Key is to get up on them early, separate, and keep their confidence down.

-When was last time K-State wasn't ready to play Texas?  Well, K-State lost their last year.  But, yes, KSU performs well against the Longhorns.....fball or bball.

-What is mindset like knowing conference championship is under their control?  Think it is good.  oscar has been telling them this for most of year.....that they were had the experience to make a run and that eventually they'd love this motion offense once you are comfortable with.  oscar just keeps on preaching this.  Key will be how they do on the road (3 of final 5 on road).

-Stan thinks great possibility exists that the game in Stillwater will decide the race.....or least share of.  But, at Texas and at Baylor will probably be toss-ups.

-Your POY?  Right now, Marcus Smart by a tad.  Would vote Withey over McClamore.  Will probably come down to who wins the league.  Will swing to McGruder if K-State can win the league.

Pretty excellent recap. I might add that Stan mentioned that he has to fly out to MHK with the team this afternoon and is currently in Kansas City.  Will he make it?!  :ohno:
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

I disagree with Stan on POY. It has to be McLemore. If K-State ends up winning the Big 12 outright, I would give it to Angel, though.

steve are you like a professional recapper or something?

Yeah, I still can't believe people still think Angel isn't our best player.

Angel hasn't always been our best player but he has been our most important.  The distinction between him and Rod is the same distinction I would make between Jake/Denis their last year together.

I think he's been our best player all year. Most important, too.

Great recap SD.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Did the Illinois players love his motion offense? Wasn't offense one of the major problems for Illinois? Or am I completely off on that? Only time will tell if it can work again, but theres no denying its working this year. and these arent even supposed to be there right players to run it. It's so weird that it didn't work there. Thats what id like to ask oscar. If he can get a team that up until this year basically consisted of one guy with a consistent shot to look sexy as crap running this offense, why couldnt he do it with his own guys at illinois? The motion offense does, in all honestly, look fun to run.

I think oscar just sucks at choosing which players to recruit.

He should just keep recruiting whoever frank would of recruited and then teach them how to make basket shots more better.

Like how Shane couldn't shoot and then one day oscar told him to try shooting with one hand until his formed improved, just like everybody else was taught to do in the sixth grade.
