Alright guys, this is really pretty simple...it all comes down to incentives. Lets pick a few incentives that should generally appeal to ALL students, for example: priority tix for football, priority enrollment in following semester classes, priority entrance for KU bball game next year, and $$. One of those should appeal to any student who would buy tickets. When you buy your tickets, you select one of the incentive options. During the season, you get "points" based on what order your ticket is scanned (rewarding those who show up early) but also factors in staying the whole game. You have to scan out after the game. If you leave early, you lose points, and if you only scan in but not out- no points. Weight games like tje non-con puds over holiday break to get more students to attend. Anyway, still need to work out the structure but the more points you have at the end of the season, the more you get towards your selective incentive: a bump in how soon you can order football tickets, a bump in how soon you can enroll, earning enough points to be one of the select 500 (adj) to get to skip to the front of the line for the KU game. Or, for those not interested in any of the above, some kind of rebate on the total cost of their tickets or just a credit to your student account. Seats will stay full.
