Good to get away from the prison and just ignore that crap for a full episode.  They can show Gov has a heart all they want, I don't think he was ever really one dimensional evil.  I think meeting up with the ol' gang will lead them to look for leadership from him and he will start to take power back and begin to look for revenge.

He is going to try and kill them.  That is the obvious story line and the one they will take.

Yeah, same story different group and slightly diff motivation.  Needs the prison for ppl that are camping in the woods, rather than to eliminate competition for resources and for power trip reasons.

Best episode of the season. It was actually good, which is surprising given that the Governor was a pretty cheesy character last season. The new characters were interesting, the story was interesting, the Governor/Brian reboot is good, zombies actually seemed dangerous, it was just an all around good show.

The only dumb part was at the end when the girl is standing in the road and, rather than just grab her, the family just stands there and Brian is calling to her like a dog. I understand what it's supposed to signify, but it was still pretty 'tarded.

Also, the Gov was never totally evil - he just went power-crazy. It's going to be interesting to see how Brian reconciles his past with his redemption, especially since he's headed to the prison.

yep.  all around - well done.  Liked the intro where he's on his walkabout.  seems like they've gotten their crap together with character development.  last year, def cheesy.

Wonder what's gonna happen with his old posse.  they abandoned him and then, looking down at him in that pit at the end, didn't look to happy to see the old gub'na.  looks lke he's gonna have to kill off the posse to protect his new family.

And just like that, this show is starting to suck again.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Completely wasted our time with the gov bullshit.  Took us through all that to get him back where he started.

Yup, we had 1 episode where we actually got some depth to a character and some intrigue, but now back to the Gov being a flat psycho, surrounded by a bunch of other boring characters, about to have a confrontation with yet another batch of boring characters.

It was away from the camp. Nothing else was around the RV Martinez was hitting golf balls from. Also, clubs in his bag looked pretty lame, like Wal-Mart cheapies. I think that had something to do with the Gov whacking him. Gov's probably a Titleist or Ping kind of guy and the crap equipment pushed him over the edge.

Martinez's swing was pretty poor, so this makes sense.

The chess speech was a metaphor, surprised you guys didn't get that.

Why was the RV leaking when it was sunny and hot out? What was leaking? Condensation from the AC?

I don't get why you have to kill the whimpy bro, he wasn't a threat.

Killed the weak brother because the gov's only purpose in life is to survive and the weaker brother didn't have a 'survive at all cost' mentality.

Right. I didn't get this at first, but it makes sense. Lot of nuance to this show.

Still not sure if he was the one who placed the rats by the prison fence or if it was someone inside.  I enjoyed the past couple of episodes...but this show is going in circles.

they've really not showed anything that would lead us to believe it was the governor who was using the rats.
