I've been hearing rumors that Daryl will be killed off in season 4.  Used to be my favorite character but now I don't think it would bother me if he got killed off.  He was a good character before the writers realized he was good.

Just rumors from a B- source, nothing concrete

It's easier to produce if the zombies always walk instead of running.

In the World War Z book the Zombies don't run, they walk, but in the movie the made them run.  It's scary as eff when they run.

I think runners are always the "infected but not actually dead" style zombies.

I haven't watched the first season in forever but it does seem like the walkers are a little slower than they use to be.. agreed though running definitely adds suspense

Love me some walking dead.

I would have to agree that thr first season was the best but I liked the 3rd season much more than the 2nd.

IMO they nees more running around a killing zombies and less omg can we stay at hershells farm?

Did you know there is a walking dead bbs called roamers and lurkers . Com or something?  Some one from the production team posted season 2 spoilers about carl killing shane :(.

Agree that increased zombie activity and aggressiveness is necessary.

I'm a little apprehensive about the early portion of season 4.  As ben ji said, they need more action and less The Walking Farm.  But since they took in all those refugees, I just feel like that's setting them up to spend the first half of season 4 trying to rebuild/resettle the prison instead of hitting the road.

Guys, guys, guys....there is no way that the next season isn't awesome.  Just like every single other has been awesome.  There is just more awesome and less awesome.  They are all awesome in our eyes.

I don't understand this post. First half of Season 2 was the only extremely slow part of the show. Season 3 had much, much, much, much more action that Season 2 as a whole. More than season 1 as well.

Parts of season 3 were just as slow as the first half of season 2.  What I'm worried about is that season 4 will revert to that.  Think about it.  Governor and his henchmen were last seen retreating (not saying they're gone permanently, just for a little while).  Rick brought in all the women and children and elderly from Woodbury.  Just feels like it's setting up the main conflict to be boring crap like having enough supplies for everybody and making sure everyone gets along instead of fighting the Governor or fending off walkers or finding a new place to stay.

No. Just because guns are not being fired doesn't mean things aren't happening. A lot of season 2 was just sitting on the farm while Shane flipped crap and Dale whined about Shane being crazy.

Lots of TWD trailers look awesome, and then they turn out to be the only 30 seconds of action in an entire episode

I don't know, just my gut feeling that season 4 is going to have a slow start and a lot of boring moments like mediating conflicts among the refugees or crying about Andrea's death

Season 3 sucked for one reason: it drug out the final conflict way too long only to have it end in 5 minutes. And it was an entire group of people who retreated forever because of a couple gun shots that no one even died from.

I feel like season 4 is going to focus on how messed up Carl has become due to growing up in a world like this. But regardless, this show is on the edge for me. If it doesn't get good in 2-3 episodes I'm calling it quits. It's always been a guilty pleasure at best and lately it's been suffering through the bad for no pay off.

Meh. There's nothing new here. So they're still at the prison, each episode is going to have a few minutes of hacking/stabbing/shooting zombies, and the rest of the of the episode will be devoted to whiny characters acting all paranoid and stuff. And no sign that they actually depart the prison.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

K-S-U-Wildcats! my word what a dolt.

I thought the trailer was epic and rad.
What I liked:
1. They defend the prison with sharpened sticks, like William Wallace uses on Braveheart against the English
2. They go to the grocery store. I would go straight for the candy and hope there is tropical skittles, or possibly Wildberry  :crossfingers:
3. Carol teaches knife fighting school to children. I would love that.
4. SOMEONE IS DRAWING THE ZOMBIES IN WITH DEAD RATS! WHO IS THE TRAITOR?  :horrorsurprise:
5. The guy who was the boxing coach on the Wire just goes in a zombie circle and starts stabbing heads while the other guy who was the barksdale drug dealer who got killed in prison on The Wire watches and screams. Seems like an awesome scene, and since they teased it, I bet he stabs enough zombie heads to make it out of there.
6. Maggie and Glenn snuggle.
7. THEY RIDE HORSES

Also, other stuff. I liked it and I like the show. Go Cats.

Sure did. Only thing I saw that even remotely gives me hope is the black woman tracing a finger on the map. They'll agonize over that for at least 6 episodes. Saw them driving in a car a few times, probably going to and from the grocery store.

Also saw a lot of swatting mosquitos, I mean, stabbing zombies through the fence. Never saw that happen before.
