i like that they are apparently not sticking to the comic.  really pisses off the comic guys.  love it.

Alot of people get pissed off by this. Why do people want to see something they already know the story to? Get over it, nerds.

It's less "follow the comic exactly" and more "let's try to stick to what made the comic so popular".  Having a show that sucks because they completely ruin the characters and miss the point is cause for concern.

I feel like a chapter of the story ended. Like when cdc blew up signals the end of the first part.

I still like the show, the Rick/Carl relationship issues are intriguing and are a good way to deal with moral questions.

However, I cannot freaking stand the crap like what they had in the cell with Andrea and Milton. I agree with Jakesie, great premise, cool twist on the opening. But then having her talk to Milton while slowly taking her precious time to get the pliers? I mean my goodness that crap is stupid. Maybe in between long loving glances and precious memories you might want to move with a bit more urgency to free yourself before Milton becomes a zombie and eats your pretty little neck.

I think the Carl stuff would be more interesting if he was older.  If he was mid teens or something, it would feel more wide open what-is-he-gonna-do type stuff.  But at his current age, you just expect Rick to tell him to shut up and clean his room.  I mean, ultimately, who cares what an 11 yr old thinks about how his dad is leading a bunch of adults through a morally ambiguous waste land full of dangers unknown?  Unless Carl is simply used as a device to illustrate to the viewer one of the major conflicts in Rick's role, it seems somewhat useless.

Pilot episode, Governor's daughter

They probably want to avoid too much violence against children, even zombie children.  I suppose a canon answer could be that since they're smaller/weaker, children were more likely to be devoured than simply bitten.

Now that I think about it, they're probably all at the McDonald's playground, snoozing in the plastic rooms above the slides until someone comes by.

Hopefully, Season 4 will address this erection issue head-on.

Eventually the zombies have to die out by starvation, right?  Milton mentioned they need to eat, and eventually the available people out in the open to eat are going to run out.

Everyone's infected = continuous supply of fresh zombies

Seems like they eat almost all of the recently deceased if they can get to them in time*.  People dying among the living are getting their brains scrambled immediately at this point.

* EXCEPT SOFIA FOR SOME REASON

For animals, it's not like they're running down deer*, so that should be an issue too eventually

*except for that one, non-zombie prisoner who somehow ran down a deer and killed it with an axe and drug it back to the prison.

Just finished watching seasons 1-3. First season was great. Second season was meh. Third season picked up a little, but the series just seems to be running out of plot. Where does this series go? The zombies are more of a nuisance than a threat, and continuing to defend the prison against bad guys is getting old. And as interesting as rebuilding society and subsistence farming in a zombie apocalypse might be in real life, it's going to make for really boring TV without more genuine conflict and exploration.

The show needs a change of scenery and, better yet, a quest. I'm hoping the prison gets overrun in the first episode, and they humans have to move on.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

3 seasons in and we still don't know what their daily lives are like.  What do they do for fun?  Do they ever tell jokes?  Do they ever stop talking to each other like they've all just met a few minutes ago?  Why is the show so goddamn serious all the time even though nothing happens?

So glad Game of Thrones is on instead.

The zombies have definitely just turned into mosquitoes.
