Guys I broke the seal tonight and watched episode 1 season 1.  I feel like I might be the only person on the planet to not have watched this show.

That might have been my favorite episode!  After the family died and Carl got shot, I started to clap.  Wow!  Carl is going to be a zombie killing pirate!

Also I was very nervous that biker gang was going to kill.  The show teased all the fans by making us think that was the future of TWD having to deal with this gang but Daryl Dixon took the bazooka to them!

Fantastic entry to the second half of this season!

Last night might have been the best episode of TWD ever produced.

Well.. that was just like the scouting crew of a larger faction of people, right?  Didn't they mention some guy's name who they report to?

Also, getting back into the original seasons of X-Files combined with TWD last night, my dreams were wicked last night.

I'm not sure that was clearly answered for me in the show.

I liked it when Eugene was like "No-one gets to clock out today"!  What a line.  Man, I was so pumped up.

Neegan is pretty prominent bad guy from the comics, IIRC.  He will be around in the future.

They already cast this guy to play him:

Nah, though they do look somewhat similar. Jeffrey Dean is the one who played The Comedian in the Watchmen movie.

If the show follows the comics with Neegan, we will be sad about some of our favorite characters.   :frown:

In my opinion with the almost killing Glenn in the first half of the season and having him almost die on Sunday, it would be really shitty to have him killed by Neegan.

I'm hoping the allusion by his little scouting party that they usually kill people in a group right off the bat, but have stopped doing that, means that he won't show up and kill someone immediately.

Fairly certain that Darryl will be introduced to Lucille at the finale, instead of Glenn.

Oh wow. I had to look up this guy's name to see that it really wasn't Javier Bardem.

I've never read the comics. But I've read enough to know what might happen. If there is one thing we can be certain of, it is that the TV version of TWD and the comic version don't perfectly line up. If I remember right, in the comics Carol is dead, Darryl isn't even a character, and Andrea is still alive. So it isn't a spoiler in my opinion to talk about certain things that might happen because it is in the comics because unlike GOT it isn't a certainty.

Exactly.  I also think in the comics that Carol's daughter is still alive, and Maggie took her in as her own.

I mean.. it was pretty clearly posted that Negan is the antagonist this season who kills a lot of main characters possibly and apparently whacks peoples heads with a barb wire baseball bat, along with pictures of the actor they hired.   :dunno:

Before that, I knew that there maybe a guy named Negan wandering around.
