Walling in the quarry would have been a much better idea.  It could have kept attracting and trapping zombos.

I agree.  They could easily have implemented a system that kept them in yet released a few at a time to ensure the quarry didn't overflow.  Just like a reservoir.

Even if it ever got full you could just light them all on fire and free up some space

Also, if Glenn actually survives a moshpit of hundreds of zombies, that would be pretty laughably lame, right? I mean granted, this show has already reduced zombies to the danger level of, say, cattle, but come on.

I it's a microns chance in hell he wouldn't be scratched or bit or something but I don't want Glenn to die, so I would be ok with it

Can we talk about Ricks hand for a quick second? He cut it on a machete through a zombie, so in fact he should be infected now right? He kept wrapping it and freaking out about it but I bet that nothing comes of it even though it should.

They made it a point a couple of times to show him agonizing over his hand, not able to stop the bleeding, etc.  I predict something freaky will happen to his hand in the next episode or two.

They've all been exposed to plenty of zombie blood. I thought the rules of this show were that it's gotta be a bite.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Apparently Rick loses his hand in the comics. I believe that the governor is the one that cut it off, so this might be hinting at that. Not that we should be worried he would turn or something.

The sad thing to me about Glenn's death is poor Maggie. She has had to deal with losing everyone she has loved. And will either be a blubbering mess or become a stone hearted killer with no regards for her own life. Also I'd feel really sad for her.

He's not going to make it, Dickstone.  You have to leave him behind.  Make sure you get back!

Remember, everyone is infected with the zombie virus that kicks in once you die. You don't get infected by the blood.

However, I do believe that the zombie bites lead to an infection (from the zombie saliva) that weakens you and makes you die quicker.  Don't think showering in zombie blood would have much affect (unless it affects open cuts or something)

Didn't Rick bite the throat out of a zombie once?

Not trying to hold a zombie show to a standard of consistency,  but they have addressed the zombie blood in their  eyes, mouths, open cuts, etc a lot in earlier seasons.

if you'll note, earlier in this thread i bemoaned the inconsistency that a zombie bite should have any affect on a person who is already affected by the zombie virus, but was roundly told to shut up.

I've caught back up since the World Series.  Last episode was backstory on Morgan and how he became a badass with a stick who doesn't kill people.  Helped fill a gap.  Not much else to say about the episode...
