Puni is right, that plan was beyond ridiculously stupid. The walkers were contained within the quarry so there was no goddam reason whatsoever to let them all out.  What they should have done, since they're so good at building walls, is to build a new wall a little further up from where that semi was about to fall.

However, their incredible stupidity led to a cool action packed episode and more cool episodes to come.  The show sucks when nothing walker-related happens, we saw that when they were at Herschel's farm twiddling their thumbs and talking about feelings and stuff.

If Rick bones her I will be very annoyed because he is awkward as F.  If I were Daryl I would be trying like hell to bone her.  When is Daryl going to get a lady friend?

During the talking dead they had a segment where Michael Cudlitz who plays Abraham was going around and interviewing different actors about the upcoming season. When he was interviewing Danai Gurira who plays Michonne Norman Reedus who plays Daryl swept in and gave her a good long kiss. So, maybe Daryl and Michonne get it on this season?

What did you think about the episode last night?  The wolves attacking the town was pretty intense and unexpected.  I thought from the first episode that the horn might have come from someone in the town trying to sabotage their plan.

Carol is such a badass.

That was just the set up, too.  I mean, that horn is bringing all those zombos in next epi, right?   :driving:

I was surprised to see the horn was an apparent accident and not a scheme

Disappointed that The Wolves were just a group of insane ppl, rather than a scheming rival faction.

I don't think this is the case either. These are peons sent out without guns to prove themselves or something?

It did seem a bit confusing considering how long they built up the 'W'olves persona.  It's not like insane people could set up traps using semi's and walkers.

it was a raid to ruin crap, make torsos, and collect prisoners for a higher organization.

whats up with that guy saying they had no choice? does he mean this world leaves them no choice? or he has to do this or be killed himself? or they have some leverage over him?

One of the main two guys previously shown was one of the 5 Morgan was ninja'ing at the end of the encounter, though.   :dunno:

They are crazy.  He said he was freeing them.

Also, the show took pains to show multiple wolves just repeatedly stabbing ppl over and over when they were obvsly already dead, while grinning about it and rubbing blood on their foreheads.  Crazy.

Yeah.  Hopefully there's more to it, otherwise kind of a let down.

Wow that was a pretty intense episode.  The Wolves are a bunch of completely batshit crazy weirdos who will kill you and then keep hacking away for good measure.  I was thinking Carol's Wolf disguise might end up being her downfall but thankfully nope.

How did the Wolves know Morgan?  I assume they met up out in the woods previously.

They tried to jack him in the woods last season.

I'm worried Morgan letting a few go will come back and haunt the group.

Something like that always seems to. Was also expecting Morgan to get it at the end when he was walking through that house. I was convinced he was going to slide a door open and that one woman guarding the guns would shoot him. No one with a moral code that preaches to Rick lives long on TWD.

Did you guys notice they seem to have dramatically increased the production value from last season? The quarry/semi CGI in the first epi was neat even if the plan and episode as a whole was beyond stupid. Also, finally some tall grass in the latest episode!

Last night was significantly better than the season premiere. They kept the terrible dialogue to a minimum and the plot was at least believable.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Yeah let's be honest, this season is going to get tarded up just like everything after s1.

Same thoughts here. Glad it didn't happen!

Just wanted to pop in and say I've really enjoyed the first two episodes, the zombie/human killing has been off the charts. How about carol
