maybe it's because i'm not a comic book guy, but I hope that the gov is killed off during the finale.  The storyline is great, but I don't want it to turn into another full season of the same stuff.

That episode was great in making me almost not hate andrea

Read an interview with one of the producers last week.  He didn't say much, but did say that this story line would be resolved by the end of this season and that next season would deal with other things.

i'm hoping the prison and woodbury both get overrun like the farm did last year so they have to leave and go somewhere else.

The Governor is destined to fail. Otherwise, the series would end. And there is no end in sight.

Nancy Negs: The warehouse scene was way too drawn out for having such little intensity. Why did the Governor keep honking when he was driving up to Andrea? Did he think she didn't see him? The Governor's whistle is stole directly from Omar in The Wire. It was an entire episode based on Andrea. The scene where Tyrese holds that white dude over the pit of walkers had less intensity than the warehouse scene. Also, I have a big complaint about the opening scene: Just because they have 2 walkers chained up close to them should not completely cover their scent. Otherwise you could walk into the middle of a big group of walkers and they would not be able to smell you. Stupid.

Peggy Po's: The last 5 minutes were great: lose all hope as Andrea gets tackled by The Governor right before Rick sees her, Governor lying about finding Andrea so he can have her all to himself, Governor successfully convinces Tyrese and his girl to stay and trust him, and showing the zombies after they were all burnt up was pretty cool. That scene was handled well. I liked that they showed a flashback of Andrea and Michonne to show that they really do get along, because we haven't really seen that. They show why the nerdy guy has been so loyal to The Governor.

I must have missed why the nerdy guy is loyal.  All I saw was him saying that he knew him before the zombie thing happened and that he thinks there is some of that left.

 :dunno:

Also, I don't get the whistling thing.  If they didn't have the scene of him taping it while sitting in his torture chair, I would think that he did the whistling and the honking to try to attract biters because he is armed and she isn't(very well anyway) and that may benefit him in stopping her.  However, with him taping it, I assume that they are just showing that he is slipping further into becoming crazy.

I also liked the flashback.  Something the haven't done enough of.

Nothing worse than someone who reads too much into a scene. Nothing!

I think each season is going to move from place to place, carrying with a group of survivors from each previous season.  Maggie/her sister from 2 and probably Tyrese/his female from this one.  I don't imagine Hershel can survive a quick exit or that the show will change Merle's character enough to let him coexist with the group, so they have to die.  From what I've heard about the books, I would think the governor would be a character for more than one season.  I just can't imagine how that would work if they leave the prison though :dunno:

Given the show's propensity to bring characters back, I guess it wouldn't be impossible for them to escape the prison in a gun fight and run into the governor again later.

If they move from season to season, which is what the producer interview I read hinted at, it would mean that either the Gov'r won and removed them from the prison, or that it became over run again beyond regaining.

Could see both happening I guess.

Why don't they just go back to the farm now?

It wasn't hard to understand the whistling. The gov. has gone off the deep end.

I predict gun fight and then zombies overrun, but that seems like the obvious answer
