So who all dies in the governer vs rick battle?

I'm thinking carol takes one to the dome. Rick is shot but lives and at least 1 other person from the prison group gets bit.

Also I bet they have a couple of skirmishes then right before/during the big battle some huge herd of walkers shows up and everyone just splits.

Merle has to die.  They won't just let him hang around keeping everyone on edge.

Think after that Cat thing, Michonne is for sure gonna die.

No way. Michonne is a staple in the graphic novels. And they finally made her do something to show that she has a personality.

I almost stopped watching this show for good after that beginning. Why did they need to get in there so badly that they would risk their lives going through booby traps to get that dude to his bed? And why does Rick casually yell down to Carl to watch the trip wire? Like, your son is going to die if your message isn't very clear. Why would you not just make him wait outside anyway?

I really enjoyed seeing someone really effed up because of everything that's been going on. Enjoyed isn't the right word, but they needed to show how effed up this kind of stuff can make you. Especially when he was begging them to kill him, it made you realize how tragic this type of world would be.

i've been over-analyzing this show, and here's my list of people who are not going to be killed off throughout the entire series:

- Rick
- Carl
- Little Asskicker

This show is Rick's story.  I don't think that he or the rest of his family are ever killed, and the three of them are together at the last scene of the series, whenever that may be.

Here's my list of people who won't be killed off for a really long time, if ever:

- Darryl
- Michonne
- Andrea

I think the rest of them could be killed off any time.

This is what the hiker/backpack pickup scene was all about too. How jaded they have become to other in need.   They consciously made the decision, not once but twice,  to move on without the guy then emotionlessly grab his crap and roll on.  Stark change in rick here.

Also,  michonne discussing how she also used to talk to her dead bf. Made it ok that rick broke w reality,  to the point that he joked about it.

The show hasn't been following the grahic novel series very closely (for instance, Axel is a pretty major character in the series) but Carl dies in the graphic novels. Doubt he dies in the TV series, but I thought it was interesting.

I thought Rick died and Carl took over the group?

Sidenote- Never read any of the comic books(Not graphic novels), all I know about them comes from reading TWD message boards.

absolutepunk.net is the best message board for any movie or TV show. They do a good job of putting spoiler tags on spoilers and mods delete posts if they don't have the spoiler tag.

Only 4 more epis is insane.

That said, as of last night, my wife finally gave in and admitted that she is into TWD now.  So, I have a solid reason to rewatch all of seasons 1&2 as well as most of season 3, all in rapid succession.  Love watching good series' like that.

Allows you to catch things tying together you may forget with large gaps.

Underrated parts of last nights episode: detail.  I enjoyed the "I'm not shitting you" sign followed by the axe with "told you" on it.  Also (caught this one on a review) there is a painted sign for "Erin" and one of the zombies had an Erin bracelet on.

"Told you" was the best.

Could they not find a better actor to play Carl? He makes the show borderline unwatchable.

He is a lot better in S3 than S1 & 2.

His convulsion in season 2 was hilariously bad.

(This was the only video I could find of it)
