what do you think the odds are we're in KC?  The top seeds in each region get priority.  We'll likely be a top 4 seed.

If Kstate gets a 4 seed.... I believe our chances are pretty good at getting KC
If Kstate gets a 3 seed.... i would say its about as close to 100 percent as you can get

Philly pod --- Duke and Syracuse
Auburn Hills pod --- Mich St and Mich
Dayton pod --- Indiana and someone else (Louisville right now IMO)
Lexington pod --- Fla and Miami

Gonz, Ariz and NMexico would take 3 of 4 from the Salt Lake City and San Jose pods
Austin pod would have 2 openings

wtf? how so? The face value isn't going up. Of course if you wait and have to get them on the secondary market of course they'll cost more. That's the same of Omaha, OKC, or any well attended event ever.

Demand in KC will be much much higher than it was in omaha/okc. I expect ticket prices pretty high above face. JMHO

We're talking about face value which you can still get them for. When you had to buy them from the secondary market for Omaha and OKC they were over face value too unless you got one from someone who didn't want to go to the other 1st day session or whose team lost the first day. The KC tickets won't be in higher demand, OKC and Omaha sold out easily.

i think more people will consider getting tickets to kc than those that would consider getting them for okc.  just because 2 events both sell out, doesn't mean the demand for tickets is the same.

i know i'm debating on going or not since it's our backyard and i would have zero cost for lodging, but had no interest in okc or any other location because it's travel and whatnot doesn't make it worth it for me.

Yeah, KC ticket prices will be much higher than OKC or Omaha if KU is here.

The average KU fan who didn't go to KU, ain't driving to Omaha to OKC for a game.  When it's here, floods of birds will head to P&L when their shift ends.

I don't think those poor ass t-shirt fans can afford the face value tickets, they aren't touching secondary markup. The greater point is that there are plenty of tickets available now and a few more to be released later. Why not get them now if you want to go? If we somehow don't make it, you'll be able to sell with a profit.

I paid way above face in Omaha day of around the arena.  First time I actually had problems finding people selling tickets.  It would be even worse here.  Tickets were cheap in OKC.

what are the chances we get thrown into a bracket with ku, ou, and illinois? would be the illinois coaches championship bracket. winner gets a bushel of corn.  the selection committee always loves these types of back story games.

Pretty sure for 3 big 12 teams to be in the same bracket there would need to be 9 big 12 teams total...

I am pretty sure the Kansas City area's #1 ACDC tribute band, KC/DC is going to be VERY busy that weekend playing "Thunderstruck" for all of the KU fans.
