Oh Wacky, I'm trying to work on my judgmental side. But I don't see this ending well for the following reasons:

1. You live with a girl. (Have you banged her, too? Because that seems like a recipe for disaster. And by recipe, I mean Meryl Streep boiling bunnies.)

2. The girl you're obviously halfway in love with, or were a few months ago, lives downstairs. Directly beneath you. In a rent controlled apartment. This means thin walls and floors. See number one. (Rabbit stew, anyone?)

3. Numbers 1 and 2 will likely make your girlfriend jealous, too. On the relationship front, I don't see this ending well. Best case scenario is a burning sensation when you pee. Worst case scenario is dead rabbits. (Bitches be crazy when jealous. Trust me on this!)

4. Rent controlled apartment. You probably won't get in trouble for fraud or whatever happens when you make stuff up to get a rent-controlled apartment unless or until Girls 1, 2, and 3 get so pissed off about the situation that they turn you in.

I hope I'm wrong. But seriously, if Willes had this living situation, I would probably be sharpening knives in my spare time.

I'm living by myself, no girl is living with me. Not worried about fraud, I have friends who have done it for years and they never check.

I understand my friend living below me could be a lil weird and I could see how a drunken night could lead to bad things, but I have faith that I can restrain myself.

@cartierfor3 I need you to keep a lookout on some rental houses in the area.

We don't want to do the Kansas side yet, because we need a little distance from the fam, and we're not ready to buy yet until she finds a new job she likes. We drove around the area on Sunday. Brookside or Waldo is probably our next stop. I need a backyard for grilling and some space for all of our new stuff.

Yeah, it's great. Been down there 3 years now. All of our friends down there, have moved to the suburbs tho. Pretty sad when your best friends down there now, are your bartenders at the quaff, The majestic, blue line, and the peanut.

There is a house on my block for rent but it looks kinda blah. I'll ask my landlord if he has any coming available, he's one of the better property owners I've dealt with.

FYI the rental market is just as insane as the buy/sell market. It took me a few months to find a place I like, but that also I could get. I had 4 or 5 places snatched out from under me before I could even look at them. Some of the "open house" dates had like 50 people at them. I just got lucky on my place now because I was the first to call him and he said he got 10 calls that day.

Craigslist is basically useless, there is a semi-scam company that lists a bunch of places but none of them are real. It's very frustrating.

Thanks, friend. Had a friend post a rental in waldo off Mcgee street today. We reached out to her. 2 bedroom, 1 bath, but only 755 sq ft. We drove around Sunday and almost found nothing around the area. Looks really hard to get into right now.
