Probably #2 was most legit foul. I loved #5 how withy goes into gip like a lineman, bounces off of him and gip gets called.

The Withey effect, guy gets away with whatever while other bigs get  calls.  Refs did a good job of random makeup calls to make it look close though

It was the same ref calling on Gip each time too, and at one point (after #2 I believe) he looked ready to tee Gip up for arguing the call. The ref looked super annoyed/pissed at Gip at that point, and proceeded to call all three remaining fouls on him over the course of the evening.

Not sure if there's history there beyond tonight, but it was definitely a storyline for this one game.

We were not winning this game, but the refs as usual were just silly bad.

JO's intentional foul.  WTF.   And JO's first foul, i thought he was set and they gave Johnson a 3 pt play

Funny thing is they let Angel do whatever he wanted.   The Phoggy boo birds were out in full affect when he was being a pest

Foul 5 was absolutely hilarious.  If I wasn't making hilarious status updates about my favorite Jayhawk players, I probably would have made one about that foul.

Yeah I have never seen a player get 5 away-from-the-ball fouls, where each one was a complete "WTF?" from everybody, even the AFH crowd, it seemed. Seemed unnecessary. Caused tons of horrible make-up calls.

Yeah, it pretty much forced the officials to call a few fouls on KU defenders off the ball when they would hold/bump Rod or Will running around through screens.

Yeah, the fouls on Gip were so bad the other refs were actually shamed into some calls that ku never gets hit with, particularly at AFH.

but those refs were a rough ridin' joke. they DID allow KU to gain momentum early in the game with their WTF and-1/intentional foul calls. i even yelled at the tv when they were calling those ticky tack fouls on KU up top. just made no sense.

The intentional on Henriquez was a joke, even me as a KU fan can admit that.  I did think it was a foul, but not an intentional in anyway.

KU went on a 14-3 run after Gip and JO both picked up 2 cheap fouls. Refs didn't win the game but they did make the game, not a game.

ku also had to sit Johnson and Releford with fouls at that point too.  they were calling it tight both ways.
