I don't know if anyone cares, but here is the gist of what happened.
Early in the season when Kapaun was playing at North, North was winning by about 18 late in the game and Conner Frankamp was still playing and went on a quick run to go up 28 before North could pull out Conner. The next day the Kapaun coach called North's coach, Squires, to complain and said that North shouldn't leave Frankamp in that long next time or he might get hurt.
Last night there were two incidents that happened last night. The first on was on the bench during a timeout early in the 4th quarter. There a guard, Tristan, who isn't good enough to play a lot. During the time out, he refused to get up off the bench so that the kids playing could sit down. He was all butthurt about not getting playing time. Frankamp Sr. kind of pulled on his arm to get him to move and Frankamp Jr. tapped on his knee or something else benign. Tristan got even more butthurt and just left for the locker room.
Time out over, game goes on, Tristan off in the locker room. 3min left to play, guard goes down with a turned ankle. Perfect time for butthurt guard to some playing time but he is off
in the locker room pouting.
Game ends, people shake hands. Frankamp Sr. says something to the Kapaun coach about how he didn't hurt Frankamp Jr. and that sets off the Kapaun coach and he got
and swear words were exchanged. That's why the cops broke up the coaches on the court after the game.
The cops in the hallway were there because butthurt guard Tristan pressed charges against both Frankamp Sr. and Jr. for touching him on the bench. Once the kids dad found out the real story from some of the other players he apologized to everyone and they are supposed to have a big meeting this afternoon with the AD and coaches.
Best part is, this lack luster guard would have gotten to start tonight because the other kid is hurt, but like that's going to happen now.
I was really disappointed that Kapaun didn't just start chanting 'T.C.U.' every time Conner got the ball.
