So I know the guy was bad and all, but when did burning him alive become police protocol?

I believe that started in Waco, TX circa 1993

They identified him because they found.... his drivers license in his wallet.... in a cabin that burned so hot they couldn't get in for 12+ hours?

Yeah that's what I said two hours ago LUKES!

you can find a lot of ridiculous stuff after pretty raging fires. a DL isn't even vaguely surprising or out of the ordinary. dumbasses.

My brother accidentally melted his drivers license with a hair dryer when he was tinting the windows on his 95 Ford probe.

but yeah, they definitely had a sniper kill him and then let him burn.  no way that this known stud shoots himself like that.  he would have gone out in a blaze of glory.  especially if he had the rocket launcher like they said he did.

you were partially right...

I'm stunned that major media outlets aren't covering this more.  With all the other stupid crap they cover 24/7, you'd think something this big would warrant nonstop coverage.  I don't want to get too Birther Pit here, but I'm willing to bet that this story isn't being crammed down our throats because the media can't make it about gun control or race and they don't dare to negatively talk about a major police department.

this post is funny in retrospect

That's only in movies. Dental records are never used to identify someone.

Guy isn't dead, it's a cover to keep him going public, he's on a private plane to an undisclosed location and a new life.

Probably had a bunch of letters and stuff ready to go out if they killed him . . . a modern day Shawshank'ing.

This is pretty true. One time I got drunk and left the oven on all night. It was a couple hundred degrees in there and when I opened it up in the morning I found some burnt french fries.

French fries are definitely more random than a drivers license. Almost everyone has those.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Did you guys talk about how they said that the fire wasn't deliberately set but they have audio of someone authorizing to "go forward with the plan with the burn?"

There's a lot of weird stuff that happens under the government's watch. Sometimes I think conspiracy theories aren't too far fetched. But I smoked a lot of pot in high school.

burners are a slang term that law enforcement uses for the tear gas canisters used.

Yep, pretty disgusting. But no one will hear about it in the mainstream media

Even if they did light the place on fire, I think that's completely understandable, given the circumstances.
