I think they'd be fine. Tharpe plays PG and EJ moves to SG, maybe lose only a couple more games.

Maybe. I've only watched 4 KU games, 2 against K-State. McLemore is a human highlight reel. He can hit spot up 3's, has amazing dunks, etc. But Smart loves contact, trying to draw fouls, gets rebounds, and leads the league in steals per game. Maybe McLemore can do all those things too, but I haven't seen it in the games I've watched.

smart's a fantastic player. he can do more things that mclemore. if i was a coach i'd rather have a competent pg to control the ball, a competent big to rebound and let my 6'5" wing concentrate on hitting 43% of his 3s.

I believe Smart will be a better pro than Mclemore . BM has amazing gifts but I think he is too passive to be great. I would also rather gamble on Smart developing a better jumper than BM improving his handle enough to be a franchise type player
