Beasley wants to come back........like......really really wants to.  Glad I could clear all that up.

in fairness i should say that i bet he does want to come back. but i would also add that he would want to come back for the money only and that kstate is his best shot at getting on at a position coach. i'd also say that it is fact that he did not enjoy being here as a grad asst and tried to find work outside of coaching. do not want.

I agree with 83% of your post.

great. to summarize...beasley would love to make six figures and kstate is the only school that might be willing to make that happen.

whoever we hire, I just hope both open positions go to one of my favorite KSU players that played that position. So hoping for Chris Harper and Darren Howard.

Am I the only one who thinks K-Lock coming in to coach would be f*cking Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) but every TUCK would gizz their jeans if he did?

I want zero former players coaching for us outside of GA spots and ones that went to have stud success somewhere else and then came back.

What if Denis Clemente wanted to be offensive line coach?

Would you take a non-former player who was an all American, NFL player, is handsome, and charismatic as a first time coach under a future hall of fame head coach?

Hypothetically.

Since I started the campaign,  I'm gonna go ahead and say I would love Kevin Lockett and we all should be so lucky.

Lockett seems to have the skill set to recruit, he also played in the NFL so he can sell that to recruits. I think there is a chance he would be a complete badass when it comes to recruiting.

What if Denis Clemente wanted to be offensive line coach?

Or David Hoskins the TE coach?

He works for the Kaufman foundation in KC or at least he used too.  It's good gig but you've got to think he'd at least entertain the idea of coaching.

Yes, per @fanningksu & @klock81, just a couple of chums yucking it up, He said "I would be lying if I said I hadn't" when I asked him if "he'd like to come back and be our wide receivers coach and if he's ever thought about coaching back at K-state."

When Bill is replaced I want the next head coach to be some one who coached under Bill at some point.  I think that's important.
