In 8man's defense, he did say Harper had to run it at the Combine. And I'm sure he was only using official times. But I wouldn't complain if his conscience got to him and he bought us a case of beer out of guilt.

Is an unofficial 4.38 a "low 4.3"? Just asking.

I have a reasonable idea, and am still skeptical. If Harper runs a sub 4.4 at the combine next spring, I'll buy BSAC a case of beer. Not saying he didn't run the fastest at pro day last year, or that someone there didn't clock him that low. The fastest WR last year ran a 4.36 at the combine last year and only 5 broke 4.4. Sorry, Harper just isn't low 4.3 fast.

They did release James Harrison, would seem that all signs point to replacing him with a stud at LB.

Its more than coincidence he’s being referred to as an Anquan Boldinesque type of receiver, though faster, and the Baltimore Ravens really like Harper.

Oh man, Arthur is now getting love from all over:

Quote
Roger Goddell: I have a trade to announce, the Houston Texas have traded their first round pick and a third round pick the Cincinnati Bengals.
With the 27th pick of the 2013 NFL draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select Arthur Brown, LB, Kansas State!

He'll go earlier than that. Mark it down.

Might not even make it to 21 after his pro day.

If he is at 21, we have to take him

The Baltimore Ravens "really like" Kansas State WR Chris Harper, according to draft insider Tony Pauline.

Harper unofficially ran in the 4.38 range at the school's pro day on Tuesday, but is drawing plenty of comparisons to Anquan Boldin due to his size and ability to make catches in traffic. We expect an early third day selection to be in his future.

According to draft insider Tony Pauline, Kansas State LB Arthur Brown "blew up" his pro day workout.

We already blurbed that Brown weighed in at 236 pounds and recorded 21 bench press reps, a notable number since some of have speculated he is dealing with a shoulder injury. Brown's forty time ranged from 4.58 to 4.62 seconds and during the workout he "was sensational, showing a quick change of direction and losing no momentum altering his angle of attack," Pauline writes. "He was fast in every direction and really solid in ball drills." We consider him a top 10 talent, although he might be selected much later.

Kansas State LB Arthur Brown has "met extensively" with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars, according to draft insider Tony Pauline.

The Steelers would use Brown inside next to Lawrence Timmons while the Jaguars could slot Brown on the weakside in Russell Allen's spot or possibly at inside linebacker to supplant Paul Posluszny. We expect the Kansas State product to be a first-round pick.

The Ravens have now lost Ray Lewis and Paul Kruger, FWIW

They also lost Lewis' heir apparent when Ellerbe signed with the Dolphins.  Local sports talk radio guy (former Redskins GM) had a glowing scouting report.  Labeled his top 4-3 ILB in the draft.
