I want Jordy, Sproles, and TLBL on the same team. Let's make that happen. Thomas too.

Will be weird seeing how he is integrated into offensive schemes, speed of outside receiver, but size of slot

Wes Welker type

Make it the Vikings so I can reduce the number of players on other teams I have to cheer for.

I will be very upset if Sproles and TLBL are on the Eagles. Much like The Dude, I hate the rough ridin' Eagles.

Woof. Welker is fine at what he does but Lockett is so much more than a great route running, slot receiver. Don't pigeonhole him into some afterthought type of receiver.

^Yep, a Wes Welker career would be such a disappointment.

What in the actual eff are you talking about? #20 in career receptions and #47 in yards is hardly an afterthought.

Yeah, because when you think of great receivers Wes Welker is right at the top.  Calvin Johnson, Antonio Brown, Jordy Neslson...Wes Welker. He's an afterthought and always has been.  He's good at what he does but he is nothing spectacular and never has been. I don't care how many underneath passes he caught from Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

yeah, any list of great receivers that doesn't start and end with Andre Rison can't be trusted.

I believe MBC is in fact saying that Tyler Lockett has a higher ceiling in the NFL than than all pro and possible future HOFer Wes Welker.

I really don't think what MBC said is that crazy, or at least I get the spirit of it. Despite all his production, Welker has benefitted from great QB play. TLBL is a more complete receiver and could also be a deep threat in addition to slot option.

TLBL is absolutely not a "more complete" receiver than Wes Welker. That is a silly opinion. If be surprised if TLBL manages even a single 1200 yard season in the NFL

Welker has had the luxury of playing most of his career with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning in pass oriented offenses. He's a one trick pony who runs nothing but option routes and quick slants before falling down. If you need any evidence just look at his seasons in Miami or the year in NE he played with Cassel.

IMO, this is an awful comparison. TLBL is much more like proven studs TY Hilton or Antonio Brown.

My post wasn't so much about trying to downplay WW as it was just saying it is not a good comparison. TLBL has a much more diverse set of skills. When was the last time you saw WW run a go route?

that's fine, but still, he's 17th in APY all time and you're gonna label him as a one trick pony?
