Also I think we have a pretty good OL but NFL caliber? I don't think you understand my post. I was trying to illustrate that the QBs of 2013 are literally nothing like the QBs of 2004 and that there is very little comparison unless you're a racist, in which case the comparison is that we have one white QB and one black QB.Really too early to tell what our QB's are like this year in comparison to 2004. I suspect we are better off this year but you never know until they start playing games. Injuries can play a factor too as they did in 2004. We saw enough of Sams last year to know that he is much, much better than Meier, Webb, and Evridge.

We know nothing. I bet it's minor. He'll probably take it easy till needed. It's like you guys have never seen Snyder run his quarterbacks into the ground before.
fanning, shut up. i mean it, shut the eff up.
Not at all, Lukebucket.
The Webb/Meier fiasco of 2004 is back!

Sounds like 2010 with Klein and Coffman. That win was the most mumped up win ever, even more than the win vs UT where we were severely out gained. I mean, who throws the ball 4 times and wins?I don't think I've ever seen a team throw 4 times and lose, fwiw.

Although the early reports were MCL, there are now solid (credible) grumblings that it was actually a minor tear of the meniscus which has already been cleaned up via a quick arthroscopic procedure.Much better news from a time frame and knee stability standpoint. HTH

EMAWKLNew walk-on to the teamPost #136MyFanPageAdd BuddyIgnore Daniel Sams - Possible Injury ReplyFriend of mine read a rumor on that other K-State fan site stating that Sams had a torn MCL. He trusts the source on the site. He also has a friend that works in the union that saw Sams on crutches today. All in all these are just rumors, but wanted to pass it along.8/9 7:36 PM | IP: LoggedAyoSabaOn the depth chartPost #3654MyFanPageAdd BuddyIgnore Re: Daniel Sams - Possible Injury ReplyDon't think it's anything. That site has been known to start rumors just to see people react. I wouldn't worry about it right now.8/9 7:46 PM | IP: LoggedEMAWKLNew walk-on to the teamPost #137MyFanPageAdd BuddyIgnore Re: Daniel Sams - Possible Injury ReplyI'm not sure about the site, but I completely trust him about the crutches. The good news is the surgery was fairly minor and Daniel should be fine in 2-3 weeks. .8/9 10:52 PM | IP: LoggedlotthallGoPowercat Ring of Fame memberPost #16232Houston, TXMyFanPageAdd BuddyIgnore Re: Daniel Sams - Possible Injury ReplyOriginally posted by CatProwler:Meniscus surgery. The only time any news ever gets broke on this site is when Rob comes in and posts from his national job (for some reason everyone thanks Wallace for a follow up story to news that Rob actually broke) or when a user shares info and gets jumped on. Here's a shocker, sometimes another site that has a lot of younger kids in Manhattan has more news about stuff going on in Manhattan (outside of Tubbys and So Long) rather than a site full of 50+ year old western KS school admins and people living in Texas. Also, lol at saying Waters was going to be the starter anyway. No one on this site has any clue what is going in with the team. If it takes 24+ hours for news to break that a potential starting QB got hurt in practice, then there are zero people on the board with an ounce of inside info. This post was edited on 8/9 11:47 PM by 110697

Sorry my early grumblings of an MCL tear weren't quite accurate. That's what I heard from a reputable source, and I wanted to share it with my best of kstate friends. #gocats
