I enjoyed him almost airballing that open look from the shoulder near the end of the game.

Of course, Rodney actually did airball one late, so  :blank:

Will is pretty much playing the way we need Will to play lately.

Last 9 games (including his terrible KU game in Manhattan); scoring 8.3 PPG, 40% from 3, (~2-5 on ave.), 2.5 RB per, and 5 total turnovers.

If Will continues to play like that, no one should get real excited, but you can't be disappointed either. Its the role and numbers that we expect and you have to really hate Will to complain about that.

Honest question, does Will belong in the MVC?

By the way, I was just referencing that Will has 78 points in conference play, which is the atomic number for platinum. I wasn't making a statement about how he played.

Ok i was confused, because platinum usually means 1,000,000 in musical terms (learned that in music stuff 101)

Interesting, unaware there was a consensus. I thought most were angry about basketball Will because of his lack of aggression but the same people have been praising him lately for his willingness to actually play. I guess I should pay closer attention to board trends :dunno:

Yes.  He's been doing what we need him to do.  Hit ~40% from three and don't screw up too often.

He doesn't turn the ball over often but he seems to have more mid-court TOs that lead to dunks and/or three point plays than any other player in the history of college basketball.

Didn't suck. One of his better games. Shannon is probably scheming about how to get Angel out of Manhattan for making his boy look so average.

He was fine until he couldn't guard Heslip, then once again oscar made the right move and sat him and played Tay. I'll take what Will gave us and oscar's decision to sit him any time.

He was terrible on the defensive end. After Baylor went on their 14ish point run, all but one of the baskets being shot over Will, Will didn't go back into the game.

This happens frequently when Will guards competent offensive players. Why not preemptively start Tay?

I know, but I'm trying here. Also, it was Irving who came in and ended the run with a big 3 pointer. The kind of shot Will always clanks.

Alright someone has to say it. Will "Squeak" Spradling played the best game of his career last night. Slapped fat face Huggins in the chops.
Luke's stock is rising as Winters continues to validate his greatness. Add Luke and Winters to my list! Also, EMAWBLAST! and Tobias!
