Should I attend?  Seems kinda white midwesterny.  And the last pep rally I went to was boring town USA.

3maw's family is going to the tailgate, $30/ticket (1 per person). ticket comes with three tabs, one for food, one for beverage, one for a bag of tostitos. seems like a huge rip off.

back to the pep rally, great time to listen to JC say how proud he is, WSC, etc. then listen to kstate mask talk about his weight loss challenge (LOL). so yeah, go.

Nope.  The only possible benefit is the venue is cool although I'm not sure how cool it will be only 1/4 to 1/3 full.

I'd go unless you get advance intel that indicates Currie plans to try to start The Wave. Waves are lame '80's throwbacks, so chances are good he'll try to start one.

Non-stop yapping from Currie and the Animal and people I didn't recognize. There were three saving graces: 1. Eric Stonestreet 2. Zimmerman's comment about the jersey -- that guy may have a future in standup. 3. They didn't let Brownback have a microphone.

I've been to six bowl games now and have never managed to make it to a pep rally. I am very angry that I drove like hell to make it to that.

I have always wanted to get a convertible and drive it around Topeka and talk on a bluetooth like a douchebag. Then when the person on the other line asks me what I'm doing, I'll just reply, "I'm driving in Top Town with the top down."

Any Fiesta Bowl pep rally that doesn't involve rampant rumors about our QB being arrested is a good Fiesta Bowl pep rally.
