They don't give a crap how much it costs per win.  They have the money.

For the last decade, they have been willing to spend much more than us.  Their facilities are currently regarded as better than ours, from a locker room/practice/training perspective, though not from a fan experience perspective.

I think they have greatly underachieved for the amount of money that they have spent....almost a true outlier on how little their investment has brought them relative to other schools who spend that much.   I believe that they will regress to the mean, which will be a big improvement for them.

We all need to pray that Bill sticks around for another decade, and helps to ensure that our facilities goals are reached on the West Side and other areas of the football facilities in that multi-phased plan.

NO STAFF CHANGES: Weis said he has no plans to shake up his staff after a 1-11 season, nor does he anticipate anyone leaving voluntarily.

“I told everyone after a 1-11, there’s no one getting thrown under the bus,” he said. “I said, ‘If I hear you’re looking for another job, I’m looking for another coach.’ It’s a very simple system.”

Weis did say he would assign some of his coaches to different recruiting territories after this class is complete.

“We have to adjust some people,” Weis said. “We probably aren’t getting as much production out of a few people because we don’t have them in the area that they’re the most comfortable with. We’ll tweak after the season’s over.”

SPRING GAME SET: KU’s spring game has been scheduled for April 13, which is two weeks earlier than last season.

With so many players arriving early from the juco ranks, KU’s returning players should notice a difference as soon as they report for spring practice, Weis said.

“If they can’t read the writing on the wall, they’re not very intelligent,” Weis said. “That should drive them.”

Seem these two statement contradict themselves. Weis may want to clarify one of them or both before it leads to turmoil.

It is very hard to recruit to Lawrence Kansas.  Not exactly Charlie's fault.
