What does the future hold for the sport of football?

With all the talk of concussions and their ramifications, will football as we know it exist in 2022?  People are dying, being permanently dissabled and such, Will the President weigh in?

While everyone is calling for more protective padding, maybe the answer is less, a la rugby. Focus on the technique of tackling rather than launching like a damn missile because you have all the padding on earth.
