Second the no.

Really want to give up and "oh well" it, but not there yet.

i'm shocked at the amount of younger tucks.

i assumed there was an age divide between goemawtards and gopowertards, but they seem to have all ages over there.

When you don't know how to rationally analyze something you go with what you have had drilled into you.  I would guess that young tucks are second gen KStaters at min.

From personal experience I'd have to estimate the tuck to gE ratio in the student section in 2010 and 2011 is not favorable to us by any means.

I'd say it is pretty 50/50 when it comes to students. Which is pretty awful.  :blank:

50/50 is generous, too. I'd guess that it's closer to 60/40 tuck to gE.

As long as John Currie is athletic director, oscar is not going to be fired until at least 2015. Other than a campaign to get rid of Currie, there just is not a fight worth fighting.

Games like Gonzaga are the only things turning fans right now.

At this point Twitter banter isn't going to accomplish much at all. I know lots of people that most here would call tucks that are very skeptical of oscar. In fact, I'm not sure I've talked to any person that is blindly supporting him like you see from some (which are a vast minority) at gp or kstatefans. That said, most are patient and will give him a chance, but like me will want him gone if they continue to see bad basketball.

JMHO, some smear campaign against him right now is probably counter productive.

Yeah, it's very important that any movement against him is based on facts and doesn't focus on his personality too much. But I think a lot of people here know that.

When we lose to Lonnie and KU at home in back to back games and then roll over at ISU victory will be in hand.

Reminds me of the Woolbury years, people did not care until football team struggled
As long as Weber smiles, acts goofy, does not make noise he will be allowed to bury our program
On this day in 2010 we were in the top 10

Completely and totally different.  Wooly got a long rope because we had forgot how to win.  Asbury didn't get a long leash BTW, his situation was totally different than Wooly's.  We are coming off the best 5 year stretch in the last 60 years, he won't be given the same rope that Wooly did, not even close, its dumb to think otherwise.  This talking point is stupid and needs to die, you aren't the first to say it nor will be the last.

Define “long rope”?  I think the analogy is Altman, not Wooly.  But imo, 4 years is too long for oscar.  After 3 years you’re going to have to approach contact extension talks  - or whether or not there are even contract extension talks to be had.  You should know after 3 years what you have.

Currie will give him 4 regardless, imo.  We could go to the NIT for 3 straight years and he’d give him a 4th.  I don’t think people realize how quickly expectations can/will plummet.  There’s already a “oscar didn’t get left with very good ‘basketball’ players” sentiment which will resonate with most of our fan base – even the ones that forked over the money.  That sentiment fits in well with the “Hoosiers” type picture that the old (re: money) donors have of basketball.

I don't know if it's more depressing that Currie would give oscar 4 years or that Currie will probably still be at K-State 4 years from now.
