They wouldn't have liked him, but they are the silent majority. They would have said nothing to actually hurt his feelings, and they would show up to the games as long as we are winning. That's a whole lot better than what they are doing to oscar, which is giving him the "We like Wooly" treatment, but not going to games. They won't even know when the team is playing or care about the scores of the games by next year.
