Isn't sneezing weird? You can't really control a sneeze and there are so many different types of sneezes and reasons to sneeze.

I'll start by sharing my sneezing habits.

-A large majority of my sneezes occur immediately when I go outside for the first time, especially on a sunny day.
-I usually sneeze in pairs. It's like one sneeze wasn't enough to get all the gross stuff out, so here comes another.
-My sneezes are pretty violent. When I sneeze, sometimes people will ask me if I'm ok.

On top of all of the weird things that can cause you to sneeze, people actually think sneezing means something more than just getting rid of something in your nose.

For instance, in Poland, if a married man sneezes people think that is a sign that his mother-in-law is speaking badly of him.

Sneezing is so annoying. No matter what, you're going to get saliva all over whatever is in front of you. A good portion of the time, it will be snot as well.

It feels good to sneeze and I agree all yealler sneezers are just being drama queens.  On the reverse side of loud sneezers there are the people that try to hold it back and it comes out all high pitched and that's just embarrassing.

Any time I sneeze I try to stifle it. I can't help it, it is an automatic reaction. People always tell me "You'll hurt yourself trying to hold in a sneeze."

I went to the googles for an answer and came across a forum about it.  Someone posted that it was because the person had either had a stroke or a tumor.     Then I read down a few posts and someone said don't ever sneeze while peeing or your dick will explode.

Breathing is a good thing. It can never be overrated. That said, the value of breathing pretty much speaks for itself so breathing probably doesn't need its own thread.

I recently had strep. Made me really appreciate the healthy function of all throat related things. Eating, drinking, not gagging myself awake every thirty minutes.

Oh and antibiotics because that crap killed George Washington.

sometimes (about 75%) i "see stars" after i sneeze.  it's not a pleasant feeling.
