Andreaj Kostic, a 6-6 Serbian, is the projected NBA first rounder. He would seem to be a starter at SF, wing with PJ Haggerty and Nate Johnson and guard. Kostic is said to have good ball handling skills as well, so I see Bashir spelling att three of them. We also signed the 6-8 German forward Elias Repieque, who projects as a starter.
And last on the foreign list is the 7-1 Romanian center from second tier Italian league. Don't look for much offense here, but it would seem we have a lot of guns. I think best case scenario is Luis Colon, which I would gladly take with this bunch. Someone who is agressive and play d and rebound, pick and roll.
The NCAA still hasn't cleared Smith, the other Memphis transfer who joined us last January. If he doesn't get another final year of eligibility, look for Tang to seek another PF from the long list of others in the transfer portal waiting to be cleared by the NCAA.
