Yea it’s a valid excuse for being able to run less in your first games back, it doesn’t compute for showing up looking like an offensive tackle.

this is how it feels to me right now:

when we hired Tang i thought we were hiring a Huggy recruiting impact-wise, but really we were hiring a Frank, but a Frank without the benefit of an initial class lined up by Huggy (beas, walker, etc). so i still think Tang will get dudes but it's going to take more time than i wanted to think at first.

The GRCOAT was in his second year. His first year was Luis Colon, Blake Young and that guy with a 40 foot long neck. If the 2023 class is as lackluster as the 2022 class then yea we may have a problem.

Question for everyone. If we manage to land Blocker and appear to have some serious heat with some other top ‘23s, would you be content to roll with what we have now, plus maybe a couple so-so transfers with only a year left with the hope that next year Blocker is just the tip of the iceberg?
