That was mean of Frank to bring in all those basketball players and not teach them to play basketball.

Just goes to show you how bad of a coach he was.

Yeah. The hilarious part is Koug was banned for relentlessly driving traffic away from the Prince dumpster fire board and to the Martin optimism board.

That was the most fun I ever had on that board, and that's why I laugh every time I see a catfan28 or TexasCat1 basketball post on gopo.

It's a very good question and one which should not be dismissed lightly.  Only time will tell us for sure, Gor.  I can say one thing.  Up until the pinch post was brought in by Underwood, I saw the following from the offense.  Denis dribbling around, getting defenses nervous with his quickness, sometimes driving and putting up a floater;  sometimes finding Jake for a three or Jake driving for a layup; or Denis putting up a three and occasionally Kelly or McGruder getting open for a shot in the mix.  Of course, there were the offensive putbacks, too.

It really is a good question.  It seems to me one has to do quite a bit of thinking in this type of offense.  It's maybe like chess in that you have to anticipate the next move.
Some have suggested Weber should scratch the motion, at least for this year, and wait until next.  I don't go along with this, necessarily, because we have underclassmen that have to learn the system.

When people belittle the sheer inimitable beauty of Denis' basketball skills it makes me  :chainsaw:.

If you don't recognize the treasure that was Denis, you should not be allowed to watch basketball ever again.

True, wise words. Preach on!

ZappaCat, so glad for your unexplained immunity.  Maybe you should check out Ancestry.com to see if there's an unexpected reason for it. It feels good (or bad, because after all it is our beloved team paying the ultimate price) to be immune, no? Don't worry fellow EMAWs, if any of you catch 'it,' we'll keep the board honest!  :ksu:
I'm in it purely for the entertainment value.

Wait for a few more years when oscar installs his "culture" upon KSU BBall. Your players will become complete whiners after every foul called on them and will suddenly shy away from contact. The best is yet to come!!!

One other thing.  Despite what Frank said about living in Manhattan, I think the the midwest culture shock was still reverberating.  Frank is a product of his environment ... a fiery Latino who loved Cuban food, silk suits and a faster lifestyle.  He was never going to meld with the midwest/Kansas culture IMO.

So rough ridin' racist, what pisses me off are the people who don't rail against people who spew this bullshit.  I know a lot of midwesterners and Kansans who aren't simple minded bigoted eff faces.

Yeah, this. Frank told me how much he and his wife enjoyed Manhattan. Unprompted, as well. And without the shifty eyes or uncomfortable mannerisms Currie has down pat.

Frank was a terrible basketball coach and recruited terrible basketball players. That being said, a terrible basketball player may win more games when they are big and strong and the refs never call fouls. We will be a better basketball team with Weber, but we won't necessarily win more games.

Folks.   oscar Weber is our only
hope if we don't want to start cheating.  Weber is the only big name out there that
has a chance to bring some talent in here without cheating.

what if most of the posters sys and others are quoting are socks?  elaborate multi-year hoaxes planned for just such an occasion as this?  moles? perfectly crafted tuck homunculi?

what if?
