One year Weber
« on: December 15, 2012, 10:08:08 PM »
Aside from using this as an awesome chant at the end of blowouts how do we make this happen?

I mean this board has activated the student body and the university to do some great things.   Clearly we need to form a plan of action.  Currie may not give a eff about basketball but he has to care about attendance in a revenue sport and what people are saying about his abilities to find a non-dog crap coach in a major sport.

I can't decide whether to be more upset with this bad hire / poor performance tonight, or knowing that i have several more months of these type of performances left before we reach a new low point. damn. :curse:

The message, I feel, was already sent to Currie that this was a questionable at best hire.

Dog crap performances cannot be tolerated.  We need to make damn sure that this debauchery must end after a year even if he gives no fucks about basketball.

when 3250 show up tues to watch this motion w/ comotion offense, he'll justify it with all the seats are sold. NOt next yr Currie.  You need to be held accountable for hiring a FIRED coach.

Worst part about this is that students (like me) will buy icat tickets to get good seats for football but icat comes with basketball tickets and Currie will use that to say that attendace is still up.

Honestly though, I was surprise to see Angel give the eff up.  This has to be a viable road to push as well.
I believe a lot of players were going to leave (Angel included) and there was a lot of sunshine pumping because he wasn't Frank.  But seeing them give up this early in games and the season, they have to help in this endeavor.

Snyder won't let Currie replace Snyder unless contracts have already been signed by his replacement.  After his last retirement he'll go JoePa and let Dimel/Sean run the show while he has on a headset in the press box before he walks away.  After these last 2 seasons, he's taken the upper hand.

i lolled at the "angel included" part, if it wasn't clear.  i don't think the entire giant mutiny stuff is true, but i don't think people that believe it are so stupid that i think they're funny.  i do think that about including art.
