Kansas State has so many talented, super-athletic kids, and pretty much none of them have an NBA position. Wonder if that's by design.

So it's just an accident that we're not going to lose anyone to the draft? :dunno: What kind of NBA talent do we have coming in next year?

It's not an accident, nor is it by design.  It's because of sh*tty recruiting.

Pump on the brakes, there, sparky. I've seen sh*tty recruiting (we all have), and this isn't it. Not great, but not sh*tty either.

that's fair.  Average recruiting is probably a better description.

No, the last thing you should do is shut up. If you shut up about recruiting, this board would be recruiting analyst-less, like our beat writing.

I used to accuse Roy Williams of doing this (because I think it's a brilliant move if even possible). It's like getting a guy like Hansbrough (or Reesing for that matter). Talented tweeners/guys that fit the college game but not the pros are excellent program guys. You get them for 4 years and can mix in a 2 cycles of two-year NBA talent and make a run every few years.

Yep, still a little too early in Frank's tenure to have those types of players looking at K-State, but it's fun to believe in 2-4 years we're going to be in a similar position with a 1 or 2 and done type player coming in like a Bill Walker.

Also you never know what will happen between now and next November. We could be in the running for the next Xavier Henry this summer once all the coaching dust settles in another month or so.

Thread had potential until rusty crap all over it

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Yeah. It's hard to call it perfect when the guy I associated with it never won a title at Kansas (although that also dubiously assumes that I know what I'm talking about). But it's a good way to develop a program that's sucked for awhile.

I refuse to believe that chum didn't know that response was coming.

There's no way we had a realistic shot at Wall.

That counts as a miss.
