Is bishop the last juco qb Snyder has had any measurable success with?  I have to be missing someone here.

Who was the last Juco player of the year that was a QB that Snyder has ever had?

Marc Dunn.

Before that, Cody Lee Smith was considered to be the #2 JUCO QB behind a guy named Steve Sarkisian.

Marc Dunn juco stats = 40 TDs - 17 ints
Jake Waters juco stats = 39 TDs - 3 ints

That guy is an exciting passer.  He does throw flat-footed, though, like Reesing did when he first played at ku.  Once Reesing got his footwork down, he was a lot less vulnerable to blind-side rushes, and became one of the more elusive QB's we've seen in the last 10 years.  It seems like the footwork can be taught, and Waters will be a much better QB than he shows in these vids.  Hard for me to understand the respects here that "don't see it".

Waters looks great.  I agree with the comparisons to Reesing or a Heupel that can run.  Maybe Seth Doege, too? All of those were very good QBs. Would take any of them.

But, from what we've seen, Sams looks like a bigger, stronger Johnny Manziel.

one positive this from landing Waters is we should now start the season ranked. I did not believe this would be the case until now.

I don't think Sams is bigger than Manziel. Maybe I just think he's small because Klein is so huge, but Klein dwarfs him.

Does anyone know of a place to pre-order National Championship tees for next year?

Touche. Also Shalin must be 6'2ish. She's taller than Manziel.

Yeah but it's tricky, sometimes I've seen girls wear shoes that make them appear taller than they really are. It's quite the pickle.

Doesn't really matter with our o-line coming back he won't have to worry about the rush.

I don't think anybody "doesn't see it". It's just that Sams seems ahead of where Waters is today and I think he will win the job.

Man, looks like deputy dawg really knows his stuff.  Still no reason to insult those who are less football "guru-ish".

Nash! https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=HPv7gPN0_nI#t=19s

Watching that guy try to tackle him made me think we should put him at fullback every once in a while just to mess with people. I don't think anyone outside the NFL would be able to tackle him.

#Life is built like a brick wall.

Also, we need to go with whoever can throw constant 60yrd bombs to Baby Blockett and hit him in full stride.  We could run this play ever single time from a hurry up offense and no one could do anything about it.

Offense with Waters as traditional QB, #life lines up as a back with Hubert as another back.  Run a crap ton of half-back option passes with #life in addition to the usual offensive plays.  DCs would die from ulcers preparing for the Wild Wildcats

"Calm the Waters"?  eff that Bill...
my take on the vidya...
Waters is pretty good, 70 something percent completion rate?  Ok, I'll buy that.
But watching that it looks like they run 1/2 speed compared to what we do in the Big Dozen...
Me thinks that will be an eye opener for Waters....

The pic of the 3 heisman finalists is a little misleading because Johnny is standing a little being the other 2.  I saw another pic where all 3 were shoulder to shoulder and the top of Johnnys head was same height as Klein's eyes.  By that pic i would say the CK is 6'5, Teo was 6'2 and Manziel was 6'0.

To me Sams looks more like 6'1 instead of 6'2.    Waters is listed at 6'2 but i wonder if he too is more like 6'1.   They were saying he was 5'11 when he left HS and grew a little bit
