What does Klein have to do tomorrow? (Non-butthurt edition)
« on: November 30, 2012, 02:07:35 PM »
I just want to win the game, but are there realistic odds that he can do enough tomorrow to win it?  I'm not sure how many votes are already in, or which voters have already made up their minds.  Does a 5 TD performance get him to the top? 6? 7?  Or is it just not going to be enough after we crap the bed at Baylor  :dunno:

Maybe if we start calling him Colly Touchdown, but I just don't think there is enough time to sway the voters.

Why would Klein be out of it.  He had a total of two bad games in the last two seasons, broke a crap load of records, including those set by the son of the Football Gods, Tebow.  This Johnny Fuckface Football turd from A&M beats Alabama and suddenly becomes the front runner.  Didn't A & M get their ass handled to them by LSU and Florida this season.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

I think there is a decent chance that a good number of voters are waiting until the 11th hour to mail their ballots because they don't want to vote for a FROSH or a LB...so I think there is a little hope if CK goes off for 100+ Rushing, 225+ Passing & 4-5 combined TD's w/o turning the ball over and of course winning the game.

I think if he has a game like that I'll give him a 40% chance at winning the hardware. Anything less than a great performance & he'll be an also ran...still in NY, but not on the stage

Big numbers 400+ total yards. 5+ TDs AND the Cats win big.

OR

Solid numbers (350+, 4 TDs) AND lead the Cats to a game winning TD in the last minute.

I'd prefer the first.

Big numbers, but in a tight game. Won't that give the numbers more meaning?

It might, I just think if his numbers aren't great, he'll have to have a memorable moment like a game winning drive.

and an A&M loss.  oh wait a minute, they're not playing for their conference (since he pissed down his leg against the gators).

How long will Bill leave Klein in if we are opening a can on Mack?  Will we see #life early?

I would say until he scores at least 10 TD's.  Everyone knows Bill isn't as unaware about this stuff as he tries to come across to the media

Lots and lots of bandaids...his elbows will need to be creating a new red sea.  If he dies on the field, he might win posthumously.

I assume most of the ballots are already sent in, so I doubt he has much of a chance, which is dumb, but whatever

he will get invited to NY and we'll get a nice feature during the ceremony

If Collin throws 5 TDs 400 yards runs for 100 yrds and 2tds... he would still have to make 10 tackles, take a punt return for a TD, catch a pick 6, and deliver a baby on the 50 yard line at hafltime to have a snowball's chance in hell at the Heisman.

The variable that this year has that history generally doesn't is the lack of an upper classman offensive player that has ran away with it at this point. I think voters are waiting because they'd rather give it to CK than JFB/Teo...50% shot if CK has a big game (yes, I raised my % 10 points in an hour)

radio guys couple weeks ago did a good job of talking about the voters.  said it was a regional thing and that Hatecrime had a very large populous section on lock down since they are part of the SEC now.  Said that Collin needed to sway the north east voters.  Those guys stopped paying attention to us when we lost.  Game over.
