Anybody ever pour peanuts in your Coke?

Nobody knows who exactly came up with this inspired idea of putting peanuts in Coke, but the pairing is guessed to go as far back as the 1920s. I've heard stories of busy Southern farmers who didn't have time to break for lunch and would eat this on their tractors while in the field.

So you get 'em in there (no small feat I imagine) and then probably drink the salty Coke up and then you have to try to shake the wet Cokey peanuts out of the bottle to eat?  Why not just have the peanuts with the Coke?  Pop a couple peanuts, take a swig of Coke.  Repeat.  People are such pointless dicks.  "Hey let me make this much harder and messier than it has to be!"

My Dad's side of the family drink Red Beer. They are for the most part hayseed farmers.

i do something similar except i water my peanut crops with coke and then harvest my coke raised peanuts and put them in my electric juicer and take the juice and pour it into a coke can and enjoy it all day long. everyone thinks i'm drinking coke, like i'm some complete dumbass
