If Two conferences were to say they were leaving the NCAA and creating their own league, what could the NCAA really do? Honestly, what kind of legal power do they have over schools? The only thing holding it together is "being in the club" and "getting a piece of the pie"

The NCAA is complete bull****, they punish teams, schools, and individuals with zero check. They stick their nose where it doesn't belong(Penn State) and they have made billions off the brow of athletes that literally play for free.

What is the SEC and the BIG10 announced today that they were leaving the NCAA and forming their own College Athletic Association? What could the NCAA really do to them other than restricting the teams under the NCAA from playing them?

And 3 years into this, Mizzou still hasn't realized that the Big 10 wants nothing to do with them

I guess they just don't  understand the whole concept behind multiple individuals telling a different version of the story and the NCAA not believing Frank Haith's version . . . as has been outlined by multiple guests on various shows this morning.

They also don't seem to understand that Haith will have an opportunity to explain himself further in the Spring.

But we are talking about mu fans afterall.

No clue, but will be fantastic watching Brad and Smart shoot them down.

I bet they end up with the San Diego St guy or someone like that.

MO, as a state, does have a history of letting ppl of power dominate/abuse/use ppl w/o power.

Fisher is almost as old a as OB.  I bet they end up with whichever MAC or Sun Belt guy wins a couple in the tourny this year and knows he needs to strike when the iron is hot.

Wait so if Im reading this right, the NCAA accused Haith of being a lying liar based off some testimony from a bankrupcy case that they were not supposed to use in their investigation. Does this not mean that Haith is still a lying liar?

Hes going to walk and keep his job (which I think MU should have kept him anyway) and now will probably sue the NCAA for calling him a liar. Sounds like a real Lance Armstrong on our hands.

BITB saying the lawyer that caused the unethical information issue is a KU grad and implied that she did this out of hating MU and that she blocked Shabazz Muhamad from playing somewhere other than KU for the same reason.  Plainly implying she was a fan that did what she could from her perch at the NCAA to hurt KU's foes.

Nope, she got fired for telling the world about intimate details of her cases and her ethical issues.  So, your BSAC used to work for the NCAA but wasn't BS enough to keep her job.  I would also assume, given the reason she was fired, that she will probs have a pretty tough time getting hired as a respectable attorney elsewhere.

Her boyfriend/husband is not supposed to know the details of her cases for that very reason.

Fair enough, but sharing details with your spouse is a little different than spouting off to random people.  The husband/boyfriend is the real idiot in that situation, not the BSAJ.

I don't know.  you would think that someone who had worked their way up to being a BSAJ would understand who to trust with deets and who not to and would be able to judge if the boyfriend was or wasn't that person.

Otherwise, fantastic job infiltrating.  Also, you guys need to kick back at a higher rate to attract a better candidate for the BSAJ position.

I'm sure there are multiple BSAJ's out there pulling strings, making sure KU stays squeaky clean elite.  Kind of like 007's, ya know?

i'm enjoying how poorly MU athletics has been lately, both on and off the field/court.

There's something I think a great guy like me and a great guy like OS can agree on.
