FS1 better be on basic digital HD cable with espn, or it will be a flop.
Do you have the Speed channel?  Because that will be FS1.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

SAMs will start, just a question of what position he starts at

Quotes from offensive players for our Kansas State Purple Cats University: "Daniel Sams will not be starting at QB"

I've just accepted it. We don't deserve it. But I want him on the field.

Surely you asked these players why, right?

What about all these Sams songs that may or may not be coming down the pipe?

If football were a 7 on 7 drill, I would agree that Waters very well could be a better QB than Sams.

A 7 on 7 drill is just a pure passing drill. There really is no threat to run the ball, which takes away the enormous advantage that having Sams on the field instead of Waters presents. Receiver progression is not as important when you are a threat to take it to the house on any passing play. If the safeties have to respect the run, they are easier to beat over the top.

To be fair, we don't really know what Waters' running ability is like.  Definitely not as good as Sams, but as long as he is more mobile than Peyton Manning I don't think the difference in how they run will be that much of a factor in determining a starter.

I really don't care who the QB is next year, but I'm pretty certain that players don't know what the eff they're talking about.

this is as much of a goEMAW.com post as i've read on this internet bbs.  it could also be a model gpc post, if gpc was as in love with sams as many of our posters are.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Bill is probably trolling the crap out of all of us. He has even schemed his own players into thinking Sams isn't amazing at QB.

Yeah. I'm sure Waters would made Bishop look silly in a 7 on 7 passing drill.

He never 2nd guessed himself on passing.  You know what happens then?  Touchdowns happen, that's what.

Lots of guys can be 7 on 7 heros and not be able to play, so take all of that with a grain of salt.

The key for Sams will be development/ability to hit intermediate and deep throws in addition to what we already know he can do running the football. The key for Waters will be as a legitimate threat running the ball, and that is if the winter ball 7 on 7 tales are indeed true.

Either way, we all need to wait until they both get the pads on and get to really compete in spring practice.

To be honest, I'm far more worried about losing Arthur and our stud Dline than Colin.

This just in Waters is a great intramural flag football QB. August is a long ways away. Oh, and the ksu cats wear pads and play 11 vs. 11 tackle football in the big12.
