Jim was by far the best bad coach socially.

Whatever year it was that we got Fred Peete, I had like a 20 minute chat with him while he ate his salad in the union about our team right after school began.  He was so pumped about Peete, really never met a nicer guy in my life.  You know how Roy Williams always does that fake folksy 'aw shucks' BS? Jim was like that genuinely.

He had several Q&As in Aggieville after he was hired as well. I remember going to one at Rusty's. Sat up front at a stool with a mic and you could ask questions. It was nice.

Back to the fanning rankings...correct me if I'm wrong, but this will be the 1st time in the Big XII that a school has won conference titles in Football and Men's B-ball (regular season) in the same year, no?
