I know Chaminade is a package deal with the Maui Invitational, but I really wish it was Hawaii as the host or something. Playing a D2 team in a tourney is so dumb.

Hss still dominating. And 1 opp coming up after the break to make it a 8 point lead for Purdue.

nope. its awesome, they are good hosts and its cool that they get to play on national TV for a few days. the tournament was their idea after they beat virginia and they can do whatever they want.

Kim Anderson is the most small timey coach i've ever seen

he's mic'd up right now and before the game thanked matt painter for not taking the mizzou job. painter looked like he couldn't believe anderson just said that.

I follow all the games in the tourney until I see their game is next. I mean, it's pretty much a gimme. Also, 23-7 Purdue right now.  :emawkid:

Purdue is crushing these guys. It's kinda crazy how much their fans don't care when they're not good. I was at that wedding a few weeks back and I know a Purdue alum within that group. I asked him if he was ready for our show down and he had no clue we even played eachother this year/or that they were even in the maui invitational.  :frown:

Mizzou just threw in the towel on basketball. Please lets never do that.

Seriously. Everything he says reminds me of a wannabe-Wooldridge.

That's exactly what he is, they even coached the same D2 school. Wooly won 73% of his games at Central Missouri from 85-91. Anderson won 75% from 02-14. Wooly at least jumped to D1 and took Texas State to the tournament and sorta "rebuilt" his alma mater La Tech before coming to fail miserably at K-State.

I guess Anderson did at least win the D2 national title, so its probably actually more like if K-State hired Bob Chipman after Kruger or Altman.

But yeah, Mizzou essentially punted their basketball program.

He has an emphasis on recruiting highly ranked wings. I don't get it, building good rosters starts with point guards and solid bigs.

Tell that Sean Miller, head coach of the very next ksu go fight on state wild wildcats' opponent.  The meat of the sandcats' team is clearly elite wings.

He has it all. He is at a blue blood completely different Job than Mizzou.

McConnell, York and Tarczewksi are mediocre as eff.  That team is all wing.

we're a bit deeper than arizona, they basically play a 7 man rotation. oscar should prison ball them all game with the forwards and see what happens. I'm starting to get kind of :emawkid:, feels good and kind of shameful all at once

If Arizona's play yesterday is an indicator of their actual talent, and we play offense as well we did and improve our defense a bit, it's not out of the realm of possibility. Those are a lot of long winded "ifs", though.
