Is that a direct quote?

What's up boys?

Been a while since I've been on here, but I wanted to stop by and apologize for not helping KSU win the BigXII outright Saturday. We had OU beat with 26 seconds left and our efense(intentional typo) crap the bed, again, as usual.
I was in the endzone stands just shaking my head in awe. I think I'm going to walk on at WVU next year.

Hey, I'm learning. TSC and all, right? It would have been great to see a Big XII team win it all.

I would be more likely to go to the Fiesta than Miami.

And that's very sensible of you considering where you live, different argument for most K-Staters. It seems emawblast is suggesting that people should spend several hundred dollars of their family's money to make some odd statement of fandom.

i just don't want our fans to act disappointed about a BCS game and decide it's not worth it, when we have seemingly traveled so well in our recent history of bowls. i can understand that it is a difficult commitment to make for a lot of families.

No one, well 99.5% of us anyway wouldn't be disappointed with a Fiesta Bowl bid.  The fact of the matter though is that we've been there, done that and the national championship is a new, unique experience.

What's funny about it though is that we actually haven't done the Fiesta Bowl as it is now.  That being said, the venue is better but the location of the venue certainly is not.

Yeah Tempe isn't exactly on the bucket list of places I want to visit. But I would like to check out a BCS bowl.... The Cotton Bowl last season was pretty B.A experience. (except the actual game)

Tempe was actually a great place for the Fiesta Bowl.  Plenty of hotels, bar district, and ASU within walking distance of the stadium.  The part of Glendale where the stadium is located is isolated.

Oh ok I gotcha. How far of a drive is it? would it be better to fly or just drive ? I really don't know anything about Tempe but just doesn't sound like that "sexy" of a location, well compared to Miami  ;)

I fully expect the Texas game to go exactly like this.

It's our game of the century, they have nothing to lose.  Check out the Mack Brown quotes!  Eery how similar this will be when our shell of a secondary gets torched for a couple TD's to start the game and we start panicking again.

Texas loves these types of games.

1.) Texas D was salty that year (Muschamp still in charge)
2.)  Nebraska's garbage WR corps dropped multiple TDs - even if TLBL doesn't heal completely, Harps alone is better than that group of puds

I'm scared as hell about Texas. I just don't think our offense is going generate much.  Hope I'm wrong.

I try to avoid saying "when it comes to" because that's what Maury Pauvich always says before he says "you are (NOT) the father."

This team, with a lot of the same players from 2011, responded very well after OU rolled us last year. I like to think we respond similarly next week.
