Would any KU player start for KSU? (serious posts only, please)
« on: November 16, 2012, 03:36:34 PM »
I know that I proposed this question last year, but who knew that Frank would bail on the team midseason?

Brucey Dubs has this in tip-top form already, as seen by that blowout in the second round of the NIT.  I didn't get a chance to watch, but from what I hear KU had troubs against small no-name school.  Uh-oh.

Honestly, though.  I can't even name anyone in the starting 5 for KU except for Whitey, and he MIGHT make 2nd team all-conference.

Ben McLemore is pretty good.  Not sure if he'd start in place of Sprads, though.

just gonna be honest, beems.  i don't see good things happening to a team with a white center.

I agree with McLemore.  I mean, did you see how well he played against Chattanooga State College?  The guy is obvs ready for the next level.

As much as it pains me to say it, Thomas Robinson would start for our fighting Webercats. He is a ballplayer, and DJamer doesn't have all that much experience. Halfway through the season when DJamer is acclimated, completely different discussion

McLemore is the real deal. I watched two KU practices earlier this season and he was by far the best player on the court.

This high soaring human highlight film with a feathery shooting touch is going to be a load in the big 12, I dont know how Bruceketball is going to stop him. Maybe just hope to contain him. w/o him, they lose to ch'nooga by 20.BM might be the savior of ku basketball.

Benny Mardones was pretty good for KU last night. Wouldn't mind him stealing some minutes from Sprads.  :dunno:

(For realz though that guy is really good  :ohno:)

Super soft, dude. KU wasted time on recruiting him. They had Cauley-Stein in their own back yard and put their noses up at him. This one falls on Self. I think he's losing his touch.

This. Weber will expose this in time.

Meek says Mcelmoore has the "wow" factor. By the way, how much a fool to Meek feel like, skipping on a chance to cover the a national champion football team. What a clown.

That looks like one of those Chattanooga Mocs that led by 8 at the half in the Phag...   Amirite?
