I've become really really nice.

Mizzou and KU fans:  "Congrats on the win!  You guys are awesome this year, you excited to make it all the way?"

Me:  "Yea you know the players have played great.  This season has been amazing.  We still have a couple games to go, and our next two opponents can surprise anybody."

Then I turn it to their team because I'm uncomfortable with the positive K-State attention.

to KU Fan:  "You know I'm really happy for Charlie.  The Hawks haven't been giving up like they did last year.  The players continue to play hard and Charlie keeps them in games giving them a chance for a big W. (TCU, Tech, OSU, Texas)."

to MU Fan:  "I did watch that game against Tennessee.  You guys had a great comeback and showed a lot of moxy in overtime.  I think next season you guys will see better results....it's a learning process for being in a new league."


I'm scared.  I'm waiting for the KITN.  I love our team.  I love LHBS.  No matter what happens this season won't be a disappointment.  I'm remaining humble, and putting myself in a state of mind to be able to handle any possible results that remain.  I'm extremely nervous.  I'm avoiding reading things from the media and listening to the radio.  Guys...I really want this.

But is it? 

Big 12 teams should feel proud.  This conference was once considered broken and unrepairable.  After all that mess, the Big 12 has a team ready to compete for the largest of all collegiate trophy's.  The Big 12 has a chance to reclaim rights as one of the top power conferences.  This could be the first time in over 6 years an SEC team is left out of the chance of earning the crystal ball.

And guess what...OU and Texas aren't the ones competing for it. 

TSC.  Right now, the teams you mentioned are C'ing their ass off.  Let them enjoy it with us.

My TSC is a little weaker than some on the C side I guess.  I mean, I root for C against non T or S teams, but I don't go out of my way to tell C's fans in the local Braums how happy I am that C is in the same C as T.

I wanted OSU to win last year. a) to get a Big 12 team in the NC game, and b) to get someone different than OU/UT as Big 12 Champ. Plus, as much as they like to make fun of Snyder for being old and particular, he's likable because of those things too, and we have plenty of players to like. I can see why lots of Big 12 people are rooting for us. I've always been one to welcome any and all on bandwagons because they are simply part of sports and realizing that crazy fans like us are the minority.
