Wyatt Earp
« on: November 11, 2012, 11:57:33 PM »
A favorite movie of mine is "Tombstone." (Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp, Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday). After discovering Holliday killed outlaw Johnny Ringo, and knowing many of The Outlaws are still gunning for them both, Wyatt tells Doc, "Let's finish it."

Doc replies, "Indeed, sir."

Baylor and Texas remain. Let's finish it.

Yeah, Val just killed the delivery in every line he said in that movie. It was pretty great.

Val Kilmer really adds to his stock with this movie.  Everytime I see him play a really dumb part I'm all like god what a doofus.  And then I remember The Final Charge of Wyatt Earp and his Immortals and I'm all  Doc/Val.  Oh ya and he's pretty badass in Heat.

Much more historically accurate than Tombstone.

Val Kilmer fans...

This is one of my favorite AMA I've read. Great insight by Kilmer on his characters.

Hello Reddit! I am actor and artist Val Kilmer. I have been Doc Holliday, Mark Twain, Batman, Madmartigan, Iceman, and Real Genius Chris Knight to name a few roles. Today, celebrate the 31st birthday of Top Gun with me as well. AMA
