KLEIN

He is injured.  He missed several throws yesterday and his arm strength was horrible.  If our offense played like it did last night, there is no way we beat Texas.

I'm surprised you're skipping Baylor, KC. You don't usually do that. Are you off your game as well?

You're right...it looks like he has post-concussion syndrome, a separated shoulder, and a herniated right pinkie toe.   :blah:

our offense has looked like complete crap against any team with a semblance of a defense.

This game was very similar to @UT last year, for multiple reasons.

I understand that this is your schtick and you gotta do what you gotta do, but this week try directing it towards the o-line which was getting handled all game.

Part of his schtick is to also miss direct fake anger.

our offense is terrible against good defenses?  is that one of the reasons?  b/c that cannot be denied.

Good defenses make it hard on opposing offenses? Now I've heard everything.

their defense isn't that good and they held us to 260 yards.

what is everyone's excuse for Klein's missing several throws?   the defense made his arm suck or how does that work?

I never said their defense was good, you did. KC outing a total dumbass in this thread, too bad it was himself.

I think a lot of its on Snyder. Once we got up by 2 scored in the 1st quarter we seemed to coast. 1st quarter we had 121 yards on 17 plays, good for 7.1 yards per snap.

The rest of the game we had 132 yards on 42 plays, good for 3.1 yards per snap.

Our offensive line didn't play great, and TCU's front played really well, but after the 1st quarter Snyder went into "let's get home" mode.

And we've had 2 poor offensive performances this year, TCU and ISU. The only two games we've been worse than our average yards per play. However, against every other Big 12 opponent, we've been better by at least 1 yard per snap offensively than what our opponents give up on average. Including pretty good defenses in OU and Tech.

my concern is more about klein, not the play calling.  we threw the ball 21 times which is very close to normal.  he badly missed a couple of long throws where it looked like he simply didn't have the arm strength to get it there.

Klein isn't going to have a 19/21 type game every damn week. Jesus Christ

I'll check when I rewatch it. He had some poor throws, but I thought it was more TCU mixing coverages than an injury. It looked like Patterson put a lot into the gameplan and Klein saw some coverages he didn't expect more than anything. It didn't help that TCU was able to get pressure so much either.

Wow, great observation Jake.  Disappointed i hadn't made that connection myself.

Right down to the muffed punt and everything.
