They are going to run this conference in the next couple of years.

As bad as this sounds, you may be correct in your assessment of TCU. Most teams with the loses they had would not even make a bowl this season, but somehow they are able too. After we lose Synder, we may end up with a losing record vs them.

Gary will be our coach some day. Sure he'll embarrass us with his uber dark glasses and half-turtle necks but we will embrace him, because he's our tool and he's WINNING.

Just my thought here, but I suspect Gary will stay where he is. He rebulit the TCU program and he and his family have pretty deep roots in the area.

Yep. He's in a big conference at a location where he can recruit his ass off, and he's basically the DKR or LCBS of TCU.

Patterson only leaves if UT or someone on that level comes calling.

Possibly sideline, possibly something else. His complete "Its Patterson" meltdown shows me that he is incapable of handling the high pressure scrutiny of the big time in a big conference. I also question his ability to manage the program the bigger it gets. He didn't take nearly enough criticism for his role in what happened in 2008, and he skated with the drug incident in the off season, that was much bigger than a few guys smoking weed.

To get away with the drug thing, he really benefited from having a MWC program and enough players involved that, as Stalin said, its a statistic. Pachall was one player, the starting QB, and fully as a Big 12 program. He's seemed to get high marks for that one which was more prominent
